A COLONIAL police officer has died after falling at his home address in Abingdon.
Christopher Prowse, 78, suffered a fall at his address in Frilford Heath on February 12.

The former colonial police officer was taken to Sobell House in Old Road, Headington but died at 6.55pm on March 5.
At an inquest opening on March 13 at Oxford Coroner’s Court, it was heard that after an examination, Mr Prowse’s medical cause of death was provided as multiple fractures, fall, and metastatic prostate cancer.
Coroner Darren Salter has now set a full inquest date to take place at the same court on April 26 at 10.30am to establish the circumstances surrounding Mr Prowse’s death.
