AN inquest date has been set for a cyclist who was involved in a crash on the A4260 in Kidlington.
David Brain, a 54-year-old car mechanic of Hawthorn Way, Kidlington, died on the Oxford Road at 6.48pm after he was hit from behind by a moving vehicle.

His death was verified by a paramedic on the scene.
At an inquest opening earlier this month at Oxford Coroner’s Court, it was heard that a post-mortem examination was carried out and Mr Brain’s cause of death was given a ‘multiple injuries’.
Coroner Darren Salter has now set a full inquest date to take place at the same court on August 7 at 11.15am to establish the circumstances surrounding Mr Brain’s death.
