The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

MOKHTAR BENNAGI, 33, of Frampton Street, London, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Marsh Road, Cowley on May 20 last year as well as driving without a licence. He was given a community order to complete 19 days of a Thinking Skills programme and was disqualified from driving for 48 months. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

HAYDN AVERY, 24, of Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Banbury on September 10 last year. They were disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £233. There were court costs of £85.

SARAH REES, 42, of Bartlemas Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating on February 11 this year as well as using threatening or insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. She was given a 20 week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. There was also a drug rehabilitation order. There were no other orders for costs.

JOSHUA WILKS-HANLEY, 21, of Eastfield Road, Witney, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified on May 7 last year as well as driving without third-party insurance and one count of failing to provide information to a police officer when asked to do so. He was jailed for 21 weeks and disqualified from driving for 24 months. There were also court costs of £150.

BEAU GIBBS, 33, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, was found guilty of assault by beating on May 29 last year. They were given a community order to complete six months of Turning Point treatment and 10 days of rehabilitation activity. There were also court costs of £250 and a victim surcharge of £114.

ALFIE PARSONS, 18, of Whitethorn Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving on September 1 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £200. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.

KENNETH COLEMAN, 27, of East Street, Fritwell, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence in Ardley on November 1 last year. He was fined £120 and had three penalty points added to his driving record. There were court costs of £85.

BESSEM CHAOUCH, 40, of Bridge Street, Banbury, pleaded guilty to possession of a quantity of a Class A drug, namely cocaine, on December 30 last year. They were given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months. There was a forfeiture and destruction order made for the drugs. There were court costs of £85.
