A new flood alert has been issued for the River Thames and its tributaries in Oxford.
Following rainfall yesterday (March 17), the Environment Agency has issued an alert for Oxford including areas between Wolvercote down to and including Radley and Jericho.
The alert warns of possible flooding of low-lying land and roads after a rise in river levels after yesterday morning's rain.

Although today and tomorrow (March 13) are forecast to be mostly dry, the Environment Agency still expect river levels to remain.
The Environment Agency alert states: "The weather forecast is predominantly dry today and tomorrow with a few light showers possible.
"We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
"Our staff are operating weirs to reduce flood risk. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses."
The alert page is due to be updated tomorrow morning or as the situation changes.
There are also alerts in place for the River Cherwell from Lower Heyford down to and including Oxford as well as the River Ray and its tributaries from Shipton to and including Islip.
Residents are urged to sign up for flooding warnings on the Government UK website, call Floodline on 0345 988 1188.
The alerts come after bouts of flooding across February which saw businesses close and homes evacuated.
