DANIEL MARSHALL, 37, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing a £12.75 Martini spirit from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on March 5 this year. He was given a period of conditional discharge of six months and ordered to pay £12.75 in compensation. There were no orders for costs.
NIGEL HALFACRE, 38, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing £12 of beer from Sainsburys in Oxford on March 5 this year. He was ordered to pay £12 in compensation and was fined £40. There were court costs of £40.
TIMOTHY WALL, 41, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of assaulting a police officer in Witney on July 2 last year as well as one count of theft from a shop after stealing £11.90 of alcohol from a Co-Op store on the same day. He was jailed for six months and ordered to pay £150 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.
ANDREW SMITH, 41, of HMP Bullingdon, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe unlawful violence would be used against them on August 1 last year in August. He also pleaded guilty to one count of theft after stealing two bottles of Morgan Spiced Rum to the value of £45 from Sainsbury’s in Bicester on August 12, 2023. He was jailed for 10 weeks and ordered to pay £50 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.
SHOAIB KAZI, 27, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating on August 14 last year in Oxfordshire. He was given a community order to complete 70 hours of unpaid work. There were court costs of £320 and a victim surcharge of £114.
SHANE LOFTHOUSE, 21, of Straight Road, Old Windsor, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Witney on August 6 last year. He was given a community order to complete 30 days of a Building Better Relationship programme, 12 days of rehabilitation activity, and he was also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. There was an order for £200 in compensation and there were court costs of £40.
