Details of a new 20,000 sq ft medical centre have been unveiled for the town of Wallingford.
Last year South Oxfordshire district councillor Katharine Keats-Rohan said she wanted to make the expansion of Wallingford Medical Practice a priority as the town is expanding, with more homes being built.
The medical practice in Reading Road has now revealed more details about its expansion plans.

A statement on the practice website said: "Wallingford Medical Practice has outgrown its current home on Reading Road. A solution seems possible but we are likely to need the support of the town in order to achieve it.
"A new 20,000 sq ft medical centre is proposed for GP services within Wallingford."
It added: "A suitable site has been identified in the Winterbrook Meadows development area, north of the A4130 Bypass.
"An area on this site was earmarked for a school which is now being developed elsewhere, freeing up this space
"The site is currently owned by Berkeley Homes, with whom the practice is currently in dialogue, supported by the Wallingford Town Council and expert property consultants.
"The Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group has given written support for an allocation of this site to develop a new medical centre."
Berkeley Homes is planning to provide care apartments on land next to the site where the new medical practice could be built.
Ms Keats-Rohan said last year: "We need to see the potential for a new site for the medical practice because they are under immense pressure with more and more patients wanting to be signed up but the space they have is inadequate.
“The problem is the actual building is too small for their current and future needs and they’ve run out of the capacity to expand it any more on that particular site."
The medical practice is asking for all feedback, comments and suggestions should be forwarded to Councillor Keats-Rohan, who is also a town councillor.
She added after she was elected to the town council last year: "They are taking on lots of extra new roles – like physiotherapy and care coordinators – but that means they need more space.

“The more people in the town, the more people they sign up, so actually they need more doctors.
“They don’t just serve Wallingford – there are the local villages that have to come here as well like Crowmarsh, Cholsey and Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.”Town mayor Daniel Beauchamp said: "The medical practice is struggling at the moment - if you add more housing the concerns are going to grow.
"We are very supportive of their bid to expand as there is clearly a need for them to do that."
Mr Beauchamp said issues affecting the town, including the need for an expanded GP surgery, were discussed at a town meeting at St Mary's Church earlier this month.
