A man in Oxford has been charged with Class A drug offences.

Driss Dekhissi of Burchester Avenue was charged on Friday, March 8 with a count each of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession of cannabis.

The 28-year-old was charged following a major investigation by Thames Valley Police and this charge relates to a search of a property in Oxford where a quantity of drugs were located.

Dekhissi is due before Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 9.

This news comes after Thames Valley Police also arrested a 21-year-old man in the city in relation to drug offences.

The arrest led to a three-month partial closure for the address at which the man was arrested where drugs were being prepared, packaged and sold from.
