A popular food and drink festival which celebrates local businesses is returning today.

The Indie Oxford Spring Market is a collaborative effort between Independent Oxford and Tap Social Movement.

Running from 10.30am to 3pm on Saturday, the event aims to highlight local businesses whilst also celebrating the importance of community.

Independent Oxford, which is into its ninth year of showcasing local talent, will hold the festival at Tap Social Movement’s Botley taproom at the Curtis Industrial Estate on North Hinksey Lane.

A spokesperson for Independent Oxford said: “Discover a curated collection of unique and thoughtful gifts from brilliant local indie businesses, all under one roof.

“From handcrafted jewellery to artisan gifts, it's the perfect place to pick some something special for Mother's Day.”

The lineup of stallholders includes Etta Rain Ceramics, LORDS Fragrance House, Jam Puppy Designs, Custom Made Jewellery, Sally-Anne Stewart Linocut Prints, Sitaarah Skincare, Abingdon Distillery, and more.

Visitors can expect diverse offerings such as jewellery, artwork, prints, ceramics, natural skincare products and candles.

Little Letterbox Learning will provide a craft corner for children aged 3 years old and up where they can enjoy making masks and bookmarks with proceeds going to Yellow Submarine.

Hosts Tap Social Movement will offer a range of craft beer, curated wines and non-alcoholic beverages as well as hand-stretched sourdough pizza.
