More than 15 people are currently being treated by Oxford University Hospitals Trust for coronavirus.

NHS England Data reveals the trust was caring for 18 patients with COVID-19 in hospital as of Sunday last week (March 3).

Some treatments in hospital can include taking tablets while others may include a patient needing a drip.

The number of people being treated in hospital was down from 25 on the same day the previous week.

The figures also show that 10 new patients with covid-19, were admitted to hospital in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the week to March 1.

Across England, there were 1,751 people in hospital with Covid as of March 3.

Nationally, the number of hospital patients with Covid-19 has decreased by 48 per cent in the last four weeks.
