Oxford's Florence Park will be hosting a family-friendly compost giveaway event this weekend.
The event is set to take place on Saturday, March 9 from 10.30am to 1pm.
Organised by Oxfordshire Reuses and Oxford Direct Services (ODS), the event will showcase local Community Action Groups plus offer repair cafes and activities.
Residents are advised to bring their own containers for compost, provided by Severn Trent Green Power, and are encouraged to travel sustainably.
Attending residents who find innovative ways to transport their compost could win a £25 zero waste re-fill shop voucher.
A host of organisations, including Sol Samba and SHARE Oxford, will be joining Oxfordshire Recycles for additional fun, games and competitions.
