West End superstar singer Michael Ball is heading to Oxford this month to perform a live show.
The veteran performer made his West End debut starring as Marius Pontmercy in the original cast of Les Misérables in 1985.
Since then he has gone on to star in masses of other productions, release songs featuring on the UK Singles Chart and regularly present on television.
Michael is now coming to New Theatre Oxford to perform his ‘One Night Only’ tour on Tuesday, March 19 at 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for the tour said: “Michael Ball is Britain’s leading musical theatre star, a double Olivier Award-winning, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist and a hugely popular radio and TV presenter.
“For over 30 years he has been at the top of his game, starring in musical theatre productions in the West End and on Broadway, winning critical acclaim, a devoted following and awards for his stage work and recording career.”
Michael will also star in the 40th anniversary year of Les Misérables show, playing the character of antagonist Javert while close friend and fellow performer Alfie Boe will play Jean Valjean.
Tickets for the Oxford show are still available and are priced at £51.80 with a £3.80 transaction fee on ATG Tickets.
