Both Facebook and Instagram’s sites are currently down and Oxford’s residents have hilariously reacted to the news.
The massive social media sites crashed earlier on Tuesday afternoon with billions across the world unable to access them.
This has led to most internet users emigrating to X. formerly Twitter, to voice their concerns, frustrations and musings regarding the situation.

Chloe Pomfet from the University of Oxford posted: “Facebook and Instagram are down. How will I cope?
“Do I have to.... socialise.... in person?”

Social media user Taz from Oxford remarked: "What would we do without Twitter (oops X) when Facebook and Instagram go down #Facebook #instagram."
