A care home in Banbury is inviting the local community to explore its facilities.

Highmarket House will be welcoming visitors on March 23, from 11am to 4pm.

The facility is seeking to give visitors an insight into the life of its residents, with the facility boasting its own cinema, hair salon, and café.

The public will have the chance to meet the staff and talk to home manager Francesca Cowley.

Live entertainment will be provided, along with the opportunity to sample the food made by the home's head chef.

The 'Best for Nutrition, Food and Dining' finalist at the Care Home Awards 2024 offers a variety of meals daily, with the residents' preferences prioritised.

Francesca Cowley said: "We’re looking forward to opening the doors to Highmarket House and welcoming the community into our fantastic home.

"We understand how important it is for a care home to feel like home, which is why we’re encouraging local people to come and take a look for themselves.

"Meet the team, and find out more about why life in a Care UK care home is special.

"We’re incredibly proud of the warm and welcoming environment we’ve created here at Highmarket House."

The facility provides all-round residential, nursing, dementia, and short-term respite care.
