A WOMAN is due in court for allegedly setting fire to a building in Oxford.
Kathleen Rooney, 32, appeared in Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (March 5) charged with one count of ‘arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered’.

She is accused of setting fire to a property to the value of £4,486.61 in Oxford on January 28 last year.
The alleged incident was deemed reckless as ‘to whether property would be destroyed or damaged and being reckless as to whether the life of another would be thereby endangered’.
Rooney, of Nuffield Road, Headington, appeared in the lower court for her first hearing.
She is now due in Oxford Crown Court on April 4 for a plea and trial preparation hearing
