Drugs paraphernalia including needles and nitrous oxide canisters were found during a police patrol of an Oxford park.
Neighbourhood police officers with partners including Community Safety, the Anti-Social Behaviour Investigation Team, Oxford Direct Service Parks Team, Turning Point as well as Lye Valley city councillor Linda Smith and members of the Blackbird Leys Locality Team conducted a search of Spindleberry Nature Park in Blackbird Leys yesterday morning (March 4).
TVP Oxford said the patrol was carried out 'in order to clear the area and make it a safer place for our community to enjoy'.
Various drug paraphernalia including needles were seized and nitrous oxide canisters, a saw and various other discarded tools and items littering the area were removed.
