A family enjoying an afternoon tea had a lucky escape when a car mounted the pavement where they were sitting.
Police were called to the Bakery on the Hill in Burford High Street at around 2.25pm on Sunday (March 3) after reports of a crash where a family of five were sitting outside.
A black car with its bonnet up was cordoned off by police tape as people were being treated by medics on the pavement.

Witnesses have said that one man was taken to the hospital and added that is was "miraculous" that there were no serious injuries.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed only minor injuries were suffered from the incident.
The eyewitness said the family members managed to take evasive action to jump out the way.
He added the dad sustained some injuries but the emergency services were able to efficiently deal with the incident.
Speaking to the Oxford Mail, a second eyewitness said: “A driver heading downhill on Burford High Street mounted the kerb, struck the medieval wall of a shop wall before ploughing into a family of five sitting enjoying an afternoon tea in the sunshine at Bakery on the Hill.
“Despite obliterating the outdoor wooden furniture into splinters and mangling the metal chairs, there were miraculously no fatal casualties.”
The person added that members of the family had to “leap out of the way just in time”.

Eyewitnesses said there were six emergency vehicles blocking the High Street while the incident was dealt with.
Leonora Conlon said: “I actually thought it was either a bomb scare or a knifing with the amount of police cars that arrived and were still flying down the A40 when we had turned round at the top of the hill to go back home.
"It was chaos."
Vicky Kay Forest added: “It was lucky no one was seriously injured or killed.”
Mayor of Burford Peter Higgs said he was “aware” of the incident, describing it as an “unfortunate accident” but was unable to provide any further comment adding he had “no idea how it occurred”.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “As per our policy on road traffic collisions, we will not be looking to provide further information unless we are contacted by our roads policing unit.”
The Oxford Mail has approached Burford Fire Station and South Central Ambulance Service for further details on the incident.
