Police have closed a main A-road in Oxfordshire for investigation work after a "serious" crash.
Emergency services were called to the A40 between the Swinbrook junction and Burford at around 6.40am this morning (March 4) after a two-vehicle crash.
The road is expected to remain closed in both directions "for some hours".

A Thames Valley Police statement said: "The A40 between the Swinbrook junction and Burford, after the Asthall roundabout is currently closed in both directions due to a serious two-vehicle road traffic collision.
"It is likely to remain closed for some time.
"Please find alternative routes if you can."
An AA update reads: "Road closed due to crash investigation work on A40 both ways between B4020 Shilton Road and The Swinbrook turn off.
"The incident occurred roughly half a mile east from the Burford Roundabout and has been ongoing since 6.40am."
