18 seats are up for grabs at the upcoming Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust's Council of Governors elections.
The elections opened on February 29 and will close March 28, 5pm.
The trust, operating mental health hospitals plus community services in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, is inviting interested individuals to nominate themselves.
The vacancies span several constituencies and classes including public positions in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and other parts of south England as well as positions for service users, carers, and various staff sectors.
To stand as a candidate or vote in the elections, individuals must be a member of Oxford Health, a free membership open to anyone over 12 living in England or Wales.
The trust has also organised election events in March for those interested in becoming a governor.
These events will provide first-hand accounts of what governors do and how to get involved.
The in-person events will be held at Wallingford Community Hospital on March 12, Whiteleaf Centre on March 13, and at Bicester Community Hospital on March 14.
Virtual events will take place on March 13 at 10.30am and March 20 at 6pm.
Membership signup and nomination must be completed and signed up by March 28, 5pm.
More details can be obtained from the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Governor election website.
Those interested are urged not to delay their membership sign-ups and nominations.
