Plans have been submitted for a new children's home in a rural location.
Oxfordshire County Council is planning to convert a privately-owned 10-bed facility in Enstone, near Chipping Norton, into a mid-long term home for up to four children.
Children at the Oathill Lodge home would be aged between 12-17.
Oxfordshire County Council Children's Service states the village has been chosen for its "rural location" and "good proximity to local amenities including education and health provisions".

A planning statement says: "Oxfordshire County Council has one of the highest numbers of children placed in out of county placements of any Local Authority in the UK.
"The majority of our children in need of residential care live some miles away from their family homes and will have experienced disrupted education and health care.
"They will struggle to keep in touch with their families, friends, communities, and other important people in their lives as a consequence.
The application for the new care home was registered on February 26 and it has a target decision date of May 28.
There would remain five car parking spaces but there are plans for two additional cycle spaces.
A measurement site area of 0.14 hectares, which includes the existing private homes together with its associated garden, would also accommodate two overnight staff bedrooms.
Council plans state there would be a maximum of seven and minimum of two staff on site at all times who will handle different jobs such as "providing care to the children, dealing with administrative tasks and cleaning".
Oxfordshire County Council will reach a decision on its own application in due course and "a copy of the decision will be available online once the application has been decided".
