Oxfordshire residents are being invited to join a sustainable energy-saving challenge run by two Oxfordshire housebuilders.
Launched by Blenheim Estate Homes and Pye Homes for families eager to improve their environmental impact, more than 30 households have already signed up for the four week, Family Energy Saving Challenge, kicking off on March 4.
Participants will monitor their energy usage and aim to reduce it using tips and advice provided by the organisers.

By making these changes, families have the chance to cut costs and potentially win a prize bundle valued at more than £500, and the winners will be named the county’s energy-saving champions.
The prize features a family annual pass to the Blenheim Palace, Park and Gardens, four tickets to Adventure Play at Blenheim Palace, afternoon tea for four at the newly refurbished Orangery at the Palace, and a set of Bosch Smart Home products.
Anybody living in the county can enter the competition by emailing property@cabcampaign.co.uk by Friday, March 1.
Pye Homes’ Church Farm in Radley, Oxfordshire, fits households prioritising energy efficiency.
Developed in association with Radley College, the community boasts features like air source heat pumps, in-roof solar panels, and electric vehicle charging points.
The eco-friendly development offering 240 two, three, and four-bedroom homes has cycle paths, green spaces, and a play area.
