Oxford children's book illustrator Korky Paul will be painting an ox for the city's first-ever art sculpture trail.
Over 30 life-sized and beautifully designed oxen will be grazing throughout the city for eight weeks from July 6.
Each sculpture will be designed by a different local, national, or international artist to help make the herd unique.
The acclaimed artist behind the famous ‘Winnie and Wilbur’ children’s books will decorate his ox in front of families and shoppers at a special pop-up session at the Westgate Shopping Centre.

The Winnie and Wilbur picture books, written by Valerie Thomas and illustrated by Korky Paul, follow the adventures of the absent-minded witch and her black cat Wilbur.
More than seven million copies have been sold and the series has been translated into more than 10 languages.
Following the trail, the oxen will go under the hammer at an auction to support the work of Sobell House Hospice.
This month the herd of 135 oxen – large and small – were delivered to Oxford Brookes University helped by a team from RAF Brize Norton who unloaded the animals before logistics partner Darcica herded them to participating artists.
In December artist David Melling was the first artist to paint his ox, ‘Orox’ in the Westgate Shopping Centre.
You can see Korky Paul at work on the upper level of the Westgate Shopping Centre, near John Lewis, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 2 and Sunday March 3.
