A gin company based on the edge of Bicester has seen its product crowned The World’s Best Gin Range Design.
The announcement of Sky Wave's triumph was made at the World Gin Awards 2024.
Sky Wave co-founder, Rachel Hicks, said: "The World Gin Awards 2024 recognises the biggest and most prestigious names in the gin industry.
"We are just five years into our journey as an independent, craft distillery, so we are thrilled to have our beautiful new bottle design recognised globally."
The Oxfordshire distillery recently unveiled its "bold" new look, "inspired by a bygone era of elegance and adventure".
Sky Wave bottles are fully British, being designed in Wales and produced in Yorkshire.
The design aims to reflect the "hedonism and adventure" of the Roaring Twenties.
The Sky Wave bottles have shed weight by 40 per cent compared to their former packaging.
They are created to be lightweight, aiming to limit their impact on the consumption and production of raw materials and transportation.
Besides being British-made, thereby drastically cutting down on the carbon footprint, they also offer an improved 40 per cent more gin proportionally for the cost.
Their signature gin, Sky Wave Signature London Dry, won The World’s Best Contemporary London Dry Gin at the World Gin Awards and received two-star accolades from the Great Taste Awards.
Distilled from natural mineral water sourced from nearby Blenheim Palace, Sky Wave has accumulated more than 50 awards in just half a decade.
These successes stamp their authoritative position amidst the world's premier spirits.
The company said Sky Wave is a "testament to the meticulous care and dedication" of master distiller, Andrew Parsons.
The company is based at Bicester Heritage in Bicester.
From its fruity counterparts like Sky Wave Raspberry and Rhubarb Gin, Sky Wave Orange and Madagascan Vanilla Gin, to Sky Wave Spiced Apple Gin Liqueur and the globally recognised World's Best Contemporary Gin - Sky Wave Signature London Dry Gin, each spirit showcases a variety of subtle flavours.
The distillery says these options offer "an abundant collection of sophisticated flavours to discover".
Adding to the collection is their latest offering, Sky Wave Zero, a non-alcoholic distilled spirit.
The company says it "showcases the brand's unwavering commitment to innovation and inclusivity by providing an exquisite alternative for those seeking a sophisticated, alcohol-free experience".
The award-winning Sky Wave gin range is accessible at selected retailers, Master of Malt, and for the entire collection, visit the Sky Wave website.
