Diddly Squat Farm appears to be readying a new site after a mysterious message from the shop owned by Jeremy Clarkson.

The farm shop, made popular by the hit Prime Video show Clarkson's, took to social media to announce that “exciting news” is “coming soon”.

The post shows a Diddly Squat Farm shop branded hoarding up outside an unknown building on an unknown street, with a moped outside of it.

This has led to many fans speculating what the news could be with many guessing a second shop is on the way while some even suggesting it could be a Diddly Squat Farm restaurant.

Responding to the post, one person wrote: “A farm shop in the city. That’s brilliant. Just don’t use Caleb as a delivery driver."

While another added: "Franchise of shops where the local farmers can sell their goods. Support the farmers.”

A third person said: "Hopefully a fully English-stocked farm, butchers and game shop with a touch of trout and salmon."

Many were quick to point out that the backdrop doesn’t look like Chadlington, where the farm shop is based.

“That doesn't look like Chadlington”, one person said.

Another added: “Well, that's certainly not Chadlington or Chipping Norton. Opening up in Mayfair, Jeremy?”

It was also noted by some that the moped appears to have a foreign number plate.

One person responded: "The numberplate on that moped looks foreign."

"Also it’s left-hand drive", someone else replied.

The Chadlington farm shop is currently closed for the winter and is due to reopen on March 1.

Mr Clarkson bought the farm site in 2008 before taking over in 2019 after the farmer who previously ran it retired.

The farm has since gained widespread popularity after the hit Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm.

The show has recently confirmed the release date of its upcoming new season which will launch on May 3 worldwide.

Season three will not be the last either after it was confirmed in November that the show will return with season four being given the green light by Amazon.

Fozia Khan, Amazon Studios’ head of unscripted in the UK, announced the news last year with production already underway for the fourth series of the Prime Video UK original.

This comes as the former Top Gear presenter has hit out at the Welsh Government's Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS) for being "completely daft".

The SFS is set to take effect in 2025, replacing European Union payments that had been worth over £300m a year to Welsh farms.

The Welsh government says the sustainable farming scheme aims to "keep farmers farming" and "safeguard the environment".

"The final consultation on the scheme is still open and we encourage everyone to reply with their views by 7 March," a spokesperson said.

"No final decision will be taken on the scheme until after the consultation has taken place, and we will listen carefully to all views."
