A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after an incident near an Oxford school.
A 16-year-old was left needing emergency surgery after an alleged assault in Oxford city centre near the back entrance of the City of Oxford College.
Following the incident on January 24 on Paradise Square, a second 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent.

He has been released on bail.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said that investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The City of Oxford College is a further education college in Oxford.
It has two campuses, one in Oxford city centre and a technology campus in Blackbird Leys, southeast of the city centre.
The Oxford Mail has approached the City of Oxford College for a statement following the incident.
