Nobody was trapped in either of the incidents and only minor injuries were sustained to people in the cars.

An Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Fortunately, nobody was trapped in either of the incidents but as you can see from the photos there was extensive damage to the vehicles and the occupants did sustain minor injuries.

“These incidents could have been much worse so we are urging motorists to please take extra care on the roads, with weather conditions and poor visibility making driving more hazardous.”
