A DRIVER charged with causing the death of a woman after a crash near Banbury could face trial, a court has heard.
Caroline Giles, who was in her 70s, died after a car crash on the A3361 Bloxham Road at about 5.45pm on May 9 last year.
The crash involved a grey Mazda MX-5 and a black Vauxhall Corsa. The occupants of the Corsa suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Hew Stantiford, 20, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (February 22) charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The army worker denied the count but pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.
It was heard the Crown Prosecution Service does not accept the plea and may take the case to trial.
They will decide by March 7.
Stantiford, of Paradise Terrace in Chipping Norton, will remain on bail.
