A 102-year-old former MI5 worker has celebrated her birthday at a care home near Banbury.
Chacombe park care home resident Patricia Ruck Keene celebrated her birthday with a homemade cake.
Ms Ruck Keene, a mother of four, was surrounded by staff and fellow residents for a day filled with singing and joy.
She said she was overwhelmed with joy and happiness and was surprised by the residents and staff singing her the birthday song.
Jude Shibu, general manager, said: "We’re delighted to be celebrating a truly remarkable woman as she reaches this amazing milestone.
"Patricia Ruck Keene is such a popular resident who always has an interesting tale to tell, and we look forward to hearing many more as she breaks into her 102nd birthday.”
