A NEW trial date has been set for a man charged with masturbating in a public place.
Russell Learning, 49, is accused of masturbating in a public place in Wallingford on October 4 last year.
He has been charged with one count of ‘act outraging public decency’ and was due to stand trial at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday (February 16).

However, the case has been adjourned and a new trial date has been set to take place at the same court on May 24.
If found guilty, Leaning could face a fine.
If a similar case was dealt with in a higher court the punishment could be prison time.
Leaning, of McMullan Close, Wallingford, has denied the offence.
