Drugs and a catapult were discovered and number plates seized by two PCs from Thame’s neighbourhood policing team today.
Sharing activities of their activities today (Thursday, February 15) through the TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse social media pages, PCs Hooley and Eldridge revealed they had engaged with local shops to encourage providing CCTV in support of previous reports and plain clothes patrols.
They also engaged with building sites to encourage awareness of tool theft and recording of serial numbers.

Number plates believed to have been discarded and related to tool thefts in the area were seized by the officers.
The post also revealed: “Patrols of Thame and surrounding areas where issues of ASB have been raised” were undertaken, in areas including Chinnor Pavilion, Phoenix Trail, Cuttlebrook, Southern Road Recreation Ground and Elms Park.
The officers confirmed a group of four teenagers were searched and found in possession of Cannabis at a park, with one of the officers also searching a male found to be in possession of a catapult in a local nature reserve.
