Concerns have been raised among customers over "filthy" conditions at a town supermarket.
The Sainsbury’s store in Bicester has been labelled a “health and safety hazard" as pictures show broken glass, rubbish and pigeon droppings at the supermarket.
Sainsbury’s has acknowledged the issue and a spokesman said staff are putting place extra cleaning staff in place at the supermarket.
Former town councillor, Jamie Jessett, who lives in Bicester, believes the state of the supermarket is “unacceptable”.

Mr Jessett, who runs a local litter picking group, said: "This a health and safety hazard and should be taken more seriously.
“We have antisocial behaviour happening within the stairways going towards the car park.
“The entrance to the car park and exit is filthy.
"It needs pressure washing and litter picking. It has been like that for many years and I have litter-picked it many times.
“The lights in the car park need sorting out for the car park spaces.
“Plus pigeon poo is everywhere which is harmful to human health along with smashed glass bottles on stairways.
“The lifts and travellators are endlessly breaking down which limits access for disabled and elderly.
“Sainsbury’s isn’t safe and things need to change rapidly.
“It affects local town centre business here as customers and tourists won’t want to shop here.
“We have empty units as it is.”
A Sainsbury’s spokesman said: “We have arranged extra cleaners to support us with keeping the store and area around it clean.”
