THE former partner of a woman charged with murder recorded a secret video stating she thought she would be killed.

Scarlet Blake, 25, is on trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with the murder of Jorge Carreno.

It was heard during the trial on Thursday (February 15) that Blake’s ex-girlfriend, Evie Brockman, had fallen out with Blake while visiting her in August 2023.

She recorded a video of herself crying, stating she was worried Blake was going to try and kill her.

The video was played to the jury and Miss Brockman can be heard saying: "I don't think I've ever been this scared of her.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to f****** do. She's probably going to try and kill me.

"I guess if anyone actually ever finds this it was her and if nobody finds this I'm Ok. I don't know. I probably won't be here anymore, at least not in the UK.

"But I can't do this anymore. I can't do it anymore. So I'm going to go. Bye."

Miss Brockman then left to go to America with police helping her to get to the airport.

However, it was heard it was fine between the pair when she left.

Police state Miss Brockman never gave police a formal statement about Blake.

The trial continues.
