THE cause of death of a retired teacher found unresponsive at his home address is still unknown.
John Leeson, 68, was found at his home address in Tern Walk, Oxford, on January 6 this year.

Emergency services were called but there were no life-saving opportunities and a police officer verified his death.

An inquest was opened into his death at Oxford Coroner’s Court on February 14 where it was heard the medical cause of his death is ‘unascertained’.
He was identified through a dental ID team following an examination on the same day he was found.
Senior coroner Darren Salter has scheduled a date for a full inquest to take place at the same court on June 12 at 2pm.
