A large emergency service response descended on an Oxfordshire town after reports of a man on a church roof.
Police, fire and ambulance were positioned outside the St Mary-le-More church, and sat in the centre of the market place, just behind the town hall.
There have been several eyewitness reports of a person being spotted on the roof, believed to be a man.

It is understood building work has been taking place at the church and the man climbed on the scaffolding as the building had been left open.
One eyewitness, Craig Simpson, said: “Police, ambulance, fire engine went in the church and an ambulance took a stretcher into the church.
“I spoke to some people next to the church and they told me someone had climbed the belfry.
“They have been doing some building work in there.
“They also closed the town off for a short period.
"The police apparently were really good and managed to talk him down without a terrible incident. The roof had not collapsed as was speculated by some people."
Oxford has said it will not comment on this incident.
The Diocese ofThe Oxford Mail has approached the church and Thames Valley Police for comment.
