A YOUNG barmaid has died from taking painkillers after suffering with Covid.
Aimee Trinder, 19, died at her home address in Saxon Road, Abingdon, on December 7 last year.
An inquest was opened into her death at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (February 14).

The court heard Miss Trinder had been suffering with Covid in the week prior to her death.
She was found by a family member on the floor in her bedroom and was pronounced dead at 4.52pm.
A post-mortem examination was carried out and a medical cause of death has been confirmed as painkiller toxicity and post-Covid pneumonia.
Senior coroner Darren Salter has set a date for a full inquest to take place on June 3 this year at 11.45am.
