He was charged with possession of a knife in a public place and appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (February 14) where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced.
The Bicester teen was referred to a Youth Offenders Panel for 10 months.
Youth Offender Panels consist of local people taking the lead in challenging young offenders to take responsibility for their actions and help them to change their behaviour to prevent further offending.
A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the machete style knife.
