A boy whose nan recovered from cancer with the support of Macmillan nurses is running 100 miles in May to raise funds for the charity.
Louis McIntosh, who plays for Sutton Courtenay's under 11's football team, will be completing the '100 miles in May' challenge alongside his mum, Gem McIntosh.
They have set a fundraising target of £1,000, and have received £875 in donations so far.
Mr McIntosh's nan, Sandra, is now cancer free and in recovery after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
She underwent surgery with the NHS before receiving support from Macmillan nurses.
Sutton Courtenay said: "We're really proud of you Louis, and if anyone can spare even £1, I know he would be extremely grateful.
"Good luck and we can't wait to follow your progress through May. We know you'll smash it."
Donations can be made via a Just Giving Page.
