The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

ELIZABETH WEBB, 45, of Fairborough Road, Mollington, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a Class A drug in Banbury on August 31 last year – namely a quantity of diamorphine. She was fined £40 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There was also an order for court costs of £40.

STEVEN SEMAINE, 49, of Common Road, Witney, pleaded guilty to being in possession a Class A drug, namely a quantity of cocaine, in Witney on August 25 last year. He was fined £307 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There was also an order for £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £123.

RICKI BEDFORD, 28, of no fixed abode, indicated guilty to five counts of assaulting a prison officer at HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester, in July last year. He was jailed for 12 months and ordered to pay £400 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

TIMOTHY SOUCH, 22, of Oxlease, Witney, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Witney on January 7 this year. He was given a community order to complete 15 rehabilitation activity days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He was also disqualified from driving for 29 months. There was also an order for £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £114.

KENNETH COLEMAN, 27, of East Street, Bicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Llanelli on February 20 last year as well as one count each of driving without third-party insurance and driving without a licence. He was given a community order to complete 26 rehabilitation activity days and was disqualified from driving for 24 months. There was also an order for £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £114.

JAMIE TOWLE, 40, of North Hinksey Lane, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Oxford on July 25 as well as driving while using a handheld mobile phone/device. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and was fined £450. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £180.

PAUL COLE, 45, of Linden Close, Iver, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Oxford on January 23 this year with 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months, and fined £630. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £252.
