A disused boarding school once known as the “Jewish Eton” appears in a new environmental disaster movie.
Carmel College in Mongewell Park, near Wallingford, was Europe's only Jewish boarding school before closing in 1997.
The abandoned building doubles as a refugee camp in the survival film The End We Start From, which is in cinemas.

Killing Eve star Jodie Comer plays a new mother who stays at the camp after her London home floods.
The flick also features Hollywood heavyweight Benedict Cumberbatch and star of Ancient Rome-set comedy TV series Plebs, Joel Fry.
Film crews were spotted at the former college and a field in Crowmarsh Gifford back in September 2022.
Other films shot in the building include The Death of Stalin, The Iron Lady, Annihilation, and The Little Drummer Girl.
