A village watering hole which flooded last month has been named South Oxfordshire’s best winter pub.
The Greyhound Inn in Whitchurch was shut for two days after the River Thames swelled during Storm Henk.
The boozer has since reopened and its landlady was presented with the Winter Pub of the Season Award last week.
Lottie Mitchell received a framed certificate from the South Oxfordshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

A spokesperson for the branch praised the pub’s “great cask ales”.
Previous winners of the award have included the Bear of North Moreton and the Cross Keys in Wallingford.
Ms Mitchell took over the Greyhound Inn in February 2022 after it was refurbished by new owners Oak Taverns.
Simon Collinson, managing director of the family owned pub company, said the award was "well deserved".
"We had a bit of a joke at the award ceremony because last month there was four inches of water inside the pub," he told the Oxford Mail.
