A BBC Radio 4 show will be coming to Oxford to record an episode this Spring.

On April 23, Gardeners' Question Time will record a programme at Trinity College, Oxford.

The panel of gardening experts will address queries from local enthusiasts.

Gardeners' Question Time attracts two million listeners weekly and is recorded in a new location each week.

Since the show began in 1947, it has responded to more than 30,000 horticultural inquiries.

The experts have journeyed to various gardening clubs and venues, even going to the top of Mount Snowdon, to Buckingham Palace, and to the House of Lords.

Dame Hilary Boulding, president of Trinity College, said: "I'm thrilled that Trinity is playing host to this flagship BBC programme as part of our Gardens Season of public events.

"We know how many keen gardeners in Oxford and the surrounding areas will be excited about a chance to submit questions to the panel, and we look forward to welcoming everyone into the college for a fantastic and informative evening, surrounded by our own stunning historic gardens.
