Abingdon Tesco has once again been forced to close due to flooding today (Saturday, February 10).
The store, in Marcham Road, has confirmed the closure, however Tesco’s website incorrectly lists the store as currently open.
It has not been confirmed if deliveries and click and collect services have also been cancelled – customers have been advised to make contact with the store and check.
The car park is prone to flooding – as last seen early last month, which forced the store to close.
Seven flood warnings are currently in place for Oxfordshire, with heavy rainfall having caused river levels to rise once more.
41 flood alerts are also in the wider area, where some flooding “is possible” – according to the Gov.Uk site.
