A motorway driver was arrested for speeding at almost 100mph after allegedly taking cannabis.
Police officers spotted a vehicle travelling at 96mph on the M40 near Welcome Break Oxford Services on Monday (February 5).
Officers stopped the vehicle near junction 8a where a drugs wipe test is said to have found the Class B drug in the driver's system.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody in Banbury Police Station for a station blood procedure.
It came on the same day that another driver was stopped on suspicion of taking drugs near the same motorway junction.
The driver in that case was first stopped when police executed a warrant for their arrest for failing to appear in court.
Officers pulled over the vehicle and found the driver also had cannabis and cocaine in their system.
They were also driving on a provisional licence without supervision.
