Oxfordshire leaders have given swift responses to reports of the King's cancer diagnosis with many offering their "thoughts and prayers".
This comes as a recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement resulted in a separate diagnosis for King Charles III, with Buckingham Palace stating that diagnostic tests had identified a form of cancer.
Mayor of Oxford, Lubna Arshad, said: "Your Majesty King Charles III, on behalf of the City of Oxford, I extend our heartfelt best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.
