The courts heard that the dog, on May 28 last year, was dangerous and was not being kept under proper control.
Superintendent Kirby applied for an order for the dog to be kept under proper control or destroyed.
Katz admitted a breach under section 2 of the Dogs Act 1871 in court. No further action was taken beyond the order indicating the dog must be kept under control.
