An Oxford dance school has announced the line-up for its Spring Dance Festival, which is set to run for 10 days in March.
Claire Thompson, director of Dancin' Oxford said: "We've brought together so many beautiful, thoughtful, and fun shows especially for our community here in Oxfordshire."
Among the highlights of the festival is the world premiere performed by artists from Moving With The Times.
Also on the bill is a colourful Zumba Spring Fiesta led by local Zumba instructor, George Martini.
Extended Play will perform their show, ‘DONUTS’ , which draws inspiration from classic sitcoms of the 90s and 2000s.
The Amina Khayyam Dance Company will offer a blend of classical Kathak dance and contemporary stories while the not-for-profit Hip Hop Dance Theatre company, Body Politic, will showcase some of Oxford's young artists.
Justice in Motion will combine dance, theatre, parkour, aerial acrobatics, film and music to create shows that highlight social injustices.
For younger audience members, the Let's All Dance Ballet Company brings ballet with 'The Magic Word'.
Richard Chappell Dance's 'Hot House,' a contemporary ballet that addresses the cost of living crisis is also on the line-up, as is The Remarkable Dance Company, which consists of over-50s drawn from Banbury and surrounding areas.
The Spring Dance Festival will run from March 1 to 10, with a launch event on March 2 from 12.30 to 2.30pm at Leiden Square, Westgate Oxford.
