A schools trust has celebrated its 10th anniversary with a festival of song, dance and music at a primary school in Grove.
More than 100 children from all different year groups and representing The Vale Academy Trust's nine schools took part in the festivities at St John's CE Primary Academy.
The trust’s director of education, Hazel Pittard, said: "It was a really joyous celebration – the perfect way to mark this important milestone.
"I’d like to congratulate all the schools on their wonderful performances and also thank the team who put this fabulous event together."
Since it's establishment in 2013, the trust has grown from three schools - Charlton Primary, Wantage CE Primary, and King Alfred's Academy, all in Wantage - to nine.
In 2014, St Nicholas CE Primary School, in Wantage, and Millbrook School, in Wantage, joined the trust before St James CE Primary followed in 2016.
In 2017, the trust expanded further by acquiring Larkmead Secondary School and Thameside Schoo, both in Abingdon.
The trust's ninth member, St John's CE Academy, opened its primary school section to pupils last September.
It's anticipated that St John's will eventually become an 'all through' school.
The trust extended gratitude to their catering services partner, Edwards and Ward, for providing celebration cupcakes, allowing each child to take one home with them.
