A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a motorcyclist sustained life-changing injuries in a crash on the M4.
The accident involved two cars and a motorbike on the westbound carriageway near to junction 4 Heathrow Airport at 8.35pm on Thursday, February 1.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital.
Both drivers stopped at the scene.
The driver of one of the cars, a 38-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by careless driving.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers from Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.
