A MERCEDES driver has avoided disqualification after being caught speeding on the motorway.
Kwan Cheung, of Melton Road, Bicester, was caught speeding on the M62 westbound near Salford on June 21 last year.
The 45-year-old was caught driving over the 40mph speed limit between junctions 12 and 11 in a Mercedes V250 Sport.

He was caught speeding on an automatic speed camera.
At Manchester Magistrates Court on January 10, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced for the offence.
He was fined £166 and had five penalty points added to his driving record. There was no disqualification ordered.
There were also court costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £66. The total amount he will need to pay is £322 by the end of the month.
