A main town road has been shut for five days while Thames Water replaces water pipes.
The water company apologised for closing West End Road in Witney until Monday, February 5.
A spokeswoman said replacing a stretch of clean water pipes would help prevent future leaks.

She said: “This will help prevent against leaks and keep taps flowing for our customers.
“Our teams are due to complete the work over the weekend, during which time part of West End Road will be closed.
“A diversion route is signposted and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
Last week, the company closed Station Road in the nearby Brize Norton for 10 days while a team fitted a new manhole cover.
