Aurora Energy Research has announced it has expanded to a new global headquarters in St Aldate's Chambers, the former home of Oxford City Council.
The firm formally signed the lease on January 29.
A ceremony to officially hand over the keys was held, attended by CEO John Feddersen and councillor Ed Turner.
The interior of St Aldate’s Chambers will now undergo a modern redesign by Morgan Lovell in preparation for Aurora's full relocation.
Works are set for completion in September.
This new hub aims to encourage innovation on a global scale, with state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative spaces.
CEO John Feddersen said: "Securing this fantastic office space guarantees our home in Oxford for many years to come and marks a significant milestone for our business.
"Attracting and retaining top talent is paramount for our organisation, and providing an appealing and inviting space for in-person collaboration is an important element."
Councillor Ed Turner also spoke on the matter: "We're delighted to have leased St Aldate's Chamber to Aurora Energy Research.
"For the Council, it reduces our energy bill and provides a significant long-term income stream to help fund key services in an increasingly challenging financial environment.
"But it also enables the city to retain a growing local business, which provides high-quality jobs for Oxford residents and wider benefits to the city's economy."
